Flat Bread with Onion

      For For Dough
  • All Purpose Flour2 1/2 cups
  • Caster sugar2 Tablespoons
  • Oil2 Tablespoons
  • SaltTo Taste
  • Dry Instant Yeast1 Teaspoon
  • Warm Water1 cup
    1. For For Onion
  • Onion1 sliced
  • Salt To Taste
  • Butter2 Tablespoons
  • Egg1
  • Khush khush and black tills1 Tablespoon


  1. Combine sliced onion, salt and butter and press with your hands well to softens. Set aside.
  2. Combine water, sugar and yeast let it stand for a minute then add oil, salt and flour to make flour. Let the dough rest for an hour or until double in size.
  3. Divide the dough into two and roll the dough out thinner in center and thicker in edges using hands. Cover them in kitchen towel for 15-20 minutes. Brush them with beaten egg and sprinkle the onions & khush khush & black tills. Then slightly press the onions with your palm.
  4. Pre heat oven and bake the the bread for 25 minutes or until lightly brown.
