Crispy Oven Samosa

Ingredients

      For For dough
  • Flour1 1/4 cups
  • Cooking Oil1/4 cup
  • Cumin Seeds1 Teaspoon
  • Salt1/2 Teaspoon
  • Water1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons
    1. For For Filling
  • Boiled Potatoes, chopped4
  • Boiled Peas1/2 cup
  • Onion, chopped2
  • Chili choppedto taste
  • Oil4 Tablespoons
  • Fennel seeds1 Teaspoon
  • Mix Spices1 Tablespoon
  • SaltTo Taste



Instructions

  1. For Dough, Combine oil, cumin seeds, salt flour and  rub well.
  2. Sprinkle water and make hard dough.
  3. Let it rest for 10 minutes.
  4. For Fillings: Heat oil saute onions, add and Combine all the ingredients and set it aside.
  5. Making Samosa : Divide the dough into 4 and make balls and roll out one ball using rolling pin into oval shape. (see pictures)
  6. Cut the rolled out dough cut into 2 semi-circles.
  7. Now take the semi circle shape dough and fold it like triangle. Look at pictures.
  8. Take a tablespoon of filling and make a ball and put it inside the triangle, then take the semi - circle shape part of the dough and fold to seal it.
  9. Place the samosa s into baking tray and brush them with oil.
  10. Pre heat oven and bake them at 230 c for 15 to 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  11. Serve it with chutney or ketchup.
