Custard (Maaghot)

Ingredients
- Water1 cup
- Custard2 Tablespoons
- Cardamom powder1/4 Teaspoon
- Saffron1 - 2 strands
- Sugar1- 2 Tablespoons
- Pomegranate Juice1 cup
- Custard2 Tablespoons
- Cardamom 1/4 Teaspoon
- Sugar1 Tablespoon
- Blanced Pistachios1/4 cup
- Blanched Almonds1/4 cup
- For For Saffron Custard
- For For Pomegranate Custard
- For Serving
Instructions
- For Zaffron Custard : In 1/4 cup of water mix saffron then mix the custard powder well.
- Bring to boil 3/4 cup of water with sugar and cardamom then add in the saffron + custard mixture and stir till the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and pour the mixture into desired moulds, let it cool completely for some hours.
- For Pomegranate Custard : In 1/4 cup of pomegranate juice mix custard powder well.
- Bring to boil 3/4 cup of pomegranate juice with sugar and cardamom then add in the pomegranate + custard mixture and stir till the mixture thickens.
- Remove from heat and pour the mixture into desired moulds, let it cool completely for some hours.
- Serving: Demould the custard and serve with blanched dry pistachio and almonds.
