Dal Stuffed Paratha

      For For Filling
  • Split Bengal Gram/Chana Dal1 cup
  • Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Turmeric1/2 Teaspoon
  • Wateras needed
    1. For For dough
  • Flour 2 cups extra for flooring
  • Salt 1/2 Teaspoon
  • Water3/4 cup
  • Ghee 1/4 cup


  1. Boil washed chana dal with salt , turmeric and water. Then mash it so fine using grinder.
  2. For flour : combine water , salt and add flour to make dough and knead for some time. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  3. Make small ball from dough, roll it out a bit then add a tablespoon of Dal mixture in the center and seal all around it.  Now roll it out using rolling pin on floured surface.
  4. Add a tablespoon of ghee to pan and cook the dal stuffed paratha, flip and add some ghee to cook the other side too.
