Dal (Lentil)

Ingredients
- Lentil1 cup
- Tomato4 - 6 (i love more tomatoes in lentil)
- Garlic2 Tablespoons, Grated
- Onion2 large
- water2 cups
- Tumeric1/2 teaspoon
- Mixmasala1 Tablespoon
- Ghee 3 Tablespoons
- Yogurt or coconut milk1/2 cup
- Saltto taste
- Red Chili powder 1 Tablespoon
Instructions
- Blend well the tomatoes, onion in blender.
- Wash the lentils well, add 4 cups of water, some salt the tomato onion puree, masala, tumeric, chili powder and cook the lentils in a pressure cooker for 5 minutes or until Dal is done.
- Add the yogurt and mix well.
- On low heat cook it for 5 minutes and keep stir it.
- In a pan, heat the oil, then add grated garlic and cook to lightly brown. Add the cooked garlic to lentil.
- Ready to serve.
- Blend well the tomatoes, onion in blender.
- Wash the lentils well, add 4 cups of water, some salt the tomato onion puree, masala, tumeric, chili powder and cook the lentils in a pressure cooker for 5 minutes or until Dal is done.
- Add the yogurt and mix well.
- On low heat cook it for 5 minutes and keep stir it.
- In a pan, heat the oil, then add grated garlic and cook to lightly brown. Add the cooked garlic to lentil.
- Ready to serve.
