Baked Layered Bread ( Qatlama Tandori)

    • Flour 2 1/2 cups
    • Dry Instant Yeast1/2 Teaspoon
    • Salt 1 Teaspoon
    • Warm Water1 cup
    • Butter1/4 cup


    1. Mix water yeast and salt then add flour and fold in to make dough. Knead for some time and let rest for 1 hour to rise.
    2. Divide the dough into two. On floured surface roll out the dough as thin as possible using rolling pin. Then spread the butter, cut the buttered dough about 3-4 inches wide using a knife. Now roll the cut dough into itself, roll out again round using your hand or rolling pin. Design some patterns on rolled out dough.
    3. Pre heat oven and bake the Qatlama at 240 c for 20 minutes.
