Almond & Flour Custard (Qoymaq)

  • Flour1/2 cup
  • Cooking Oil1/4 cup
  • Milk4 Cups
  • Almond1/4 cup
  • Sugar1/4 cup
  • Cardamom Powder1 Teaspoon


  1.  Fry flour in oil for a minute, Add milk and cook for 15 minutes or so till its thick. Continuously stir.
  2.  Wash 1/4 cup of almonds then dry clean with kitchen cloth. Blend the almond using blender. Stir in the blended almond, sugar and cardamom, cook for 5 more minutes on medium heat.
  3. Plate on any dish as you desire and serve hot or cold.
