Afghani Beef Meatballs (Kofta)

Ingredients
- Ground Beef1 Ib
- Ground Onion2 meduim
- Ground Garlic4 Cloves
- Minced ChiliAs Required
- Ground coriander seeds1 Tablespoon
- Black Pepper1/2 Teaspoon
- Crushed chiliAs Required
- Egg beaten1/2 of an egg
- Salt To Taste
- Ground onion2 meduim
- Tomatoes, minced4-5
- Garlic , chili paste1 Tablespoon
- Red chili or paprika powder1 Teaspoon
- Vegetable Oil1 laddle or less
- SaltTo Taste
- For Kofta/Meatballs
- For For Gravy
Instructions
- For Kofta/Meatballs: Mix all the ingredients well, then make egg size ball and flatten it into round flat shape. Do the same with all mixture.
- For Gravy: Heat oil and cook garlic/chili paste then add onion and fry until lightly brown. Add in tomato and cook until nice gravy. Now mix the red chili/paprika powder, salt to taste, a cup of water.
- Now you can arrange carefully the Kofta s you prepared into the gravy pot. Cook on low to medium heat until Koftas are ready. Add more water if needed.
